Thanks for the link to The Writer's Almanac, I always enjoy Keillor's take on things. Of course, by the time I actually followed that link, there was a new page, with a poem by Billy Collins, also good. That poem, Introduction to Poetry, ought to be required reading for all teachers of high school (and maybe university?) literature!
Yes, that's a problem with the Writer's Almanac site. I've never been able to link to a specific page and if you read my post a few days later, you can be baffled.
