Later

Life goes on. Yes it does and sometimes it brings change. Such as; I think I will have to give up this blog for awhile. I'm developing a bad attitude and it shows, so it's time to rethink and regroup, or vice versa.

Maybe it's not the blog that is giving you a bad attitude, but the news and feeds that you read in order to prepare for blogging. Also, the pain and medication you are enduring has to be taking a toll. The whole thing can be exhausting. Do what feels best but keep us informed on the good things going on. Your art, your cooking, your viewpoint from N. California. It is all good.

  3. There's a lot of unpleasant news out there, easy to get discouraged and cynical. Thing is, when someone like Obama says, enough is enough time for a change, you can bet that the opposing forces are going to resist as mightily as they can. And they've got a lot of might. So maybe look at it this way, all that bad news is really good news, the more you hear about what the bad guys are up to, the more they are being outed and the more folks will turn away from them in disgust and loathing.

Cheer up, start looking for the good news, take a break, and I look forward to you posting when you're up for the fight again.

  4. Thanks for all the nice comments...
But, my life has become focused on the pain (Lumbar Stenosis), its immediate relief and finally, the perceived cure (surgery...soon, I hope). Everything else is a distraction for right now.

  8. Ima; I do appreciate that...

But, since it's Spring, it's also a time for some sort of renewal. I need to get out of this funk and do something different and so I'm planning that. Something with 'balance' that won't make me sound as if I were a perpetual grouch; I'm not. Really.
