    There was a climate change special on NPR the other day that predicted a long period of warming, followed by a rapid onset ice-age-ish event...and discussion of deep future effects of our present carelessness.

    I don't even want to think what life would be like without NPR.

    In our area, NPR has been rated #1 consistently; year after year and yet, our inimitable congressperson, Wally Buffoon, has joined the ranks of Republicans to vote against funding for it. How stupid can he be? Wait, don't answer that....
