Tuesday morning and it’s a little later than usual; that’s a good thing. And I now have my first cup of coffee in front of me, ready for the moment when my brain begins to falter, or my fingers lose their places upon the keyboard. Also, it’s time for the weather forecast and I see that the day will be a sunny one, 58°, turning to cloudy and a 30% chance of rain later tonight.
That sounds like a good day for me to get in some race training; do a fast 6 mile walk in Bidwell Park and then a cup of tea afterwards at Teaz Me. Then it will be a trip to the new Trader Joe’s store to see what it looks like, minus the opening day crowd. After that I will head to Plaza school and spend a little time helping some of the students design the cover sheets for their Ag projects. In this process, I have discovered that I can gauge (somewhat) the personality type of the student by the graphic images and colors they choose and then how they choose to display those images. I have shared those discoveries with Laurae and she confirms that I’m pretty close.
I’ll be through with that by noon and then it’s time for me to do some Christmas shopping…on-line of course. Although I will probably save a little shopping for the last days; I actually enjoy going to the stores during the last week before Christmas. But, I do it at 8, when they first open and I’m out of the store by 9:30 or 10. Mission accomplished! I have found that the clerks are at their very best during those first hours, the aisles are free of crowds and the shelves are freshly stocked. But after 10, it’s no place for an INFP type and I’m in my car and headed home to recover.
