Apology?

My, how quickly time flies! Wednesday is here already. And I’m awake at the usual hour. And I have my usual cup of coffee in hand. Not much change there.

I should apologize for making such far reaching statements about conservatives, as I did yesterday. I really do dislike labels of any kind but I obviously enjoy using them for others when I am so inclined. And on the plus side, I didn’t name anyone in particular. Though I was certainly tempted! I need to remember that these people’s words and actions will eventually convict them…any indictment on my part is a waste of my time and energy.

But how do I turn off the interest I have in these things? To not comment seems criminal. To live in a vacuum where the only thing that interests me is the weather? How boring! It would be as if I were living in “Mayberry”. And that was fiction, no matter how pleasant it seemed.
And when you read that Ann Coulter, the darling of the conservatives once said, “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.” It’s really hard not to comment when you hear others from the conservative side making the same sort of speeches today.

OK, I talked myself into it. I’m taking my apology back.
