- New York Times
Sorry, it's the Times and you usually have to register to see it. But it's worth reading. And questioning.
"...It's just baffling why Mr. Bush traveled halfway around the world to stand right next to one of his most important allies against terrorists — and embarrass him. India and Pakistan are military rivals that have fought each other repeatedly. They have both developed nuclear weapons outside the nonproliferation treaty, which both refuse to sign. When India exploded its first acknowledged nuclear weapons eight years ago, Pakistan felt obliged to follow suit within weeks."
Steve I think the President has a word for his incoherent foreign policy. "Strategery"
ReplyDeleteIt's hard work....
Do you ever have a hard time with fellow christians that seem to give the President a pass on everything because he is "a man of faith"?
Yes, I do...aren't there supposed to be "fruits"?
ReplyDeleteYeah but I think many conservatives are looking at fruits as such things as stacking the supreme court with anti-abortion activist and fighting gay marriage (as if there is even such a thing really).
ReplyDeleteI won't go as far to say he isn't a Christian, heck look at Constantine. I just feel real uncomfortable about the dozen books or so that I can find in a evangelical bookstore that praise the faith of this President. My grandmothers old pastor used to be Bill Clintons pastor. He had wonderul things to say about Bill Cinton's faith however flawed he was as a person. All because President Clinton really trusted that the Lord would save him from himself. That is my biggest hope, salvation from myself.
Well said...
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, look at Constantine indeed! Christianity or else!
