That last bit of news about the banning of wire transfers illustrates the major difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives believe punishment is the solution to everything. Bad behavior should always be punished. And the conservatives get to decide what bad behavior is and what is not. Conservatives live in a black and white world. You can’t be a “little bit” good; you’re good or your bad. And once again, they decide.
Being a Conservative Christian is even more troubling...

Liberals like to punish people before they have even done anything, they see people as unintellegent and unable to choose what is truly best for themselves, typical of most of humanity liberals do not apply their flawed logic fairly or consitantly. If it was so automobiles would be outlawed. They tend to believe in legislating a lack of morality.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by conservative Christian? A conservative christian would be all about forgiveness while a liberal would again choose their innovative ideas and flawed human ideas of what should and should not be.
I live in a Black and White world viewed through the lens of Grace.
I am pro-choice but I understand there are consequnces for our choices and the need for forgiveness when the wrong choice is made.
And proof once again that labels just can't do justice as there seems to be subcultures within each label.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that it is the most liberal and most conservative in california that has been for making domestic ferrets legal while the moderats of both parties has by inlarge been against such freedom.
