Life is good. It may be raining and cold. The skies hold no hope for a day of sunshine…but Wallace and Gromit won an Oscar for the Curse of the Were-Rabbit! Life is not only good, it’s fair as well. I can’t tell you about any of the other awards. Once I saw their names on the list, all else simply faded away. OK, enough; there must be far more interesting things to write about than Wallace and Gromit, even though I do love them!
Yes, it is raining and cold and there hasn’t been much of a letup in the rain. It has rained continually for at least 24 hours now. And the damp has made it seem much colder than it really is. I am a big fan of summer heat and it’s at times like this that I really miss it. I am beginning to have visions of Arizona. Warm, warm Arizona! But wait; the news…Southwest Suffers Historic Drought. One of the driest winters ever in the Southwest is killing trees and plants, stressing wildlife, choking the air in Phoenix
And…according to the news, we have survived another night and the outlook for today is about the same as it was yesterday. World War III continues without much letup.
