Tuesday. And a bad day for Blogger. For some reason, the Blogger add-on for Word has stopped working and I can no longer post directly from a Word document. I have to do a cut and paste and that doesn’t transfer the hyperlinks or formatting in the text. I have sent in my question to Blogger Help, but no answer so far.
I haven’t been feeling very well and I’m wondering if it is the flu? I certainly don’t need that! The symptoms started late Sunday evening and then grew steadily worse during the day.
One of my early morning e-mails has a URL for a good website, www.vote-smart.org. If you need to know all about your representatives in government, this non-partisan website has all of their voting records and a copy of their public statements. (Of course you need to know!)
Today: Rain showers this morning, becoming a steady, soaking rain during the afternoon hours with a few rumbles of thunder possible. High 57F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a half an inch.
Tonight: Periods of rain likely with a few thundershowers. Low around 45F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance
Isn’t that a beautiful thing? More rain. And it’s pounding down quite heavily now. I made the mistake? of fertilizing the grass last week and now that it’s growing much longer, I can’t mow it because of the rain and I doubt that I will get a chance to mow it this week…
Now my satellite connection is gone. Darn! The heavy rain is the usual culprit. And yes, I have issues with Direcway. But they are the only provider I have found out here in the county. And now, they are changing our e-mail addresses because of some corporate decision to promote Hughes, the owner of Direcway. I just finished changing all of my e-mail records from the old JPS.net and now we have to do it again.
OK. I got a connection...I better post now.
