Stepping up

Let's see if Blogger can handle the upload of three (3) photos all at the same time.
OK! It worked...
copper accents and pearlescent paints
This one has the step stool sitting on a mirror and you are seeing a reflection of the bottom of the stool.
Now that Kyle's step stool is complete, I have to begin Karlee's. I'm thinking that "hot" pink and fluorescent green might be appropriate...along with a good dose of "bling".

Oh, I like it! What kind of paints were used. Is it all inlay? What are the round disks?

  2. I used Perlacryl paint on the accent pieces, like the wooden disks. The copper strips were fastened (glue) under the adjoining pieces. Hopefully, there is enough polyurethane on the finish to keep Kyle's prying fingers away from the copper. Hey! He's a boy and I'm sure he wants to take it apart.
