Great Memories

It doesn’t seem to stop. By following links here and there, I found myself at a Reno Trade Union site with pictures of the construction of the second tower of John Ascuaga’s Nugget. (I may have to spend some time here)… This was a familiar sight for me. Here, one tower crane is bringing buckets of concrete (mud) up to the roof and it’s being poured into the forms for the columns. A second tower crane is seen silhouetted against the amazing blue sky of Nevada. During the time I worked in Reno, I could usually be found working on a deck like this...summer or winter. I would be welding steel clips to the outside edge of a steel structure or placing those same clips in the forms for a concrete structure.
