Happy Birthday to you!

And on a different subject altogether; as I was walking I began to debate with myself on the subject of government. I won the debate by declaring that all governments are inheritantly evil in the end and (luckily) short lived. Most start out with good intentions, but things always change. Such great logic! My thoughts on this subject were prompted by the revelation that this is the 153rd anniversary of the Republican Party. Any review of history will show you that today’s Republican Party bears no resemblance to the one of 150 years ago. So buck up Republicans, this too shall pass.
