I was reading about the furor caused by Senator Harry Reid and his comment a few weeks ago that the “war was lost”. And what I find interesting is the fact that most of his critics are mainly mad about the losing. It’s as if it were a baseball game; they simply want to be on the winning side. Right or wrong doesn’t enter into their thought process. These are the same types that thought ‘losing’ the war in Vietnam was a terrible blot upon our national honor. Honor? Tell that to the people of Vietnam.
