How To Hide

An Airplane Factory

This site was a great find! Some of my favorite stories from my father were his recollections of how he worked on the camouflaging of the Burbank Airport during the war. Later, every time we went to this airport, I tried to imagine how it looked, all covered with netting.

Now, it's a real treat to see these photos and know that my father was there...

I never heard these stories...are you sure I came from the same family? Consider yourself very lucky you have all these wonderful memories of Dad. I really enjoyed seeing these pictures. Keep it up!

  2. You were there when we went to the airport. In your little car seat? Nope, in those days, little kids just got tossed into the backseat to fend for themselves.
