Jurors Need Schooling

The trial is over and the defendant owes about $228,000; payable to? Will the so-called 'artists' receive any of this money? I doubt it.

What a farce!

I believe some basics are being ignored in these cases. One; we buy music or we rent music. Which is it? If you tell me to buy Blanks latest album and I do, the music should now be mine. And as with anything I own, I should be able to share it.

I rented a movie the other night. I returned it to it's owner yesterday.

I bought a CD a few years ago. I'm lending it to my daughter today.

The public library buys books... and then loans them; for free!

And worst of all... I belong to the Friends of the Library. We take books, donated by their former owners, and we sell them; to make enough money to buy more books!

There are no nuances to examine here. Books, movies or music. I own what I buy or I don't.
