but No Thanks
Funny, we were sailing in the bay only a few weeks ago, on an old Liberty ship. We sailed under the Bay bridge and out to the Golden Gate. And then we returned... sailing back under the Bay Bridge once more. And like all ships in the bay, there was a pilot doing the navigating. The ships captain can only watch.
Now I will admit that I don't know how tricky it is to sail under the Bay Bridge...but I do know that the bridge remained in one place and didn't really get in our way or jump about. It seemed to be firmly in place. Now I know that trees and telephones poles have a tendency to jump out in front of drivers, but bridges?
OK, enough... now what's with the government response? Fish and Game wants loyalty oaths? Not on your life!
