According to the early news, it’s Obama and Huckabee that are the big winners in Iowa. What a sham. Although if you are an Iowan, you have to love the money that the candidates dropped into the state coffers. 7% of Iowans participated in the caucus and somehow that’s supposed to mean something? A telephone poll would have more meaning. (No, not that kind of pole!) If there is a plus side to this, it’s that we will have fewer names in the headlines. Biden and Dodd have withdrawn for sure. I’m sure that the next day or two will bring more news along the same lines as would be candidates see the money being withdrawn from their campaigns.
Iowa also has a large Hispanic population because of the need for cheap labor at the slaughter houses...I wonder what they thought of all this political hoopla? I'm sure they didn't have time. Hi Ho. Hi Ho. It's off to work we go!
