Vote Early and Vote Often

The news is…a lot more money has been spent and this time around the winners have different names. It’s Hillary and John this time. Barack and the ‘Huckster’ are the losers. Interesting; as New Hampshire has the wisdom to allow independent voters to vote for candidates from any party at all. So who voted for which one? Independents did. California used to allow that, but the Republican Party bosses didn’t like the thought of actual independence and voted to stop it. They may need to re-think that now that California has such a large bloc of independents. We’re starting to have a real impact now. And I’m voting as soon as I see the ballot in my mailbox. Could be tomorrow.

I just had a thought… what if there was an e-mail vote? A national one? No, not a binding vote, but I could see the different political parties being both interested and scared of it. Declaring a certain week to be National E-Vote Week and millions of people logging in and registering their votes. Could be interesting. It would be fairly simple to do and it would easily allow for write-in candidates. Mickey Mouse and None of the Above. IP addresses would be the identifier for the voters. Sure, there would be some voter fraud, but there always is. Ohio and Florida come to mind.

(And 'Mitt' is now a two-time loser. OK!)
