Homeward

Homeward bound - Los Angeles Times

Too true! Althought it's always a possibility, I can't imagine living anywhere other than 'home'. Every time I read
Code Name Nora, I am reminded of why I feel that way.

True story...back in the past, way back, (we're talking teenage!) I envisioned the end of my life this way; I would have a mule and a pack and I would be heading out across the desert. That particular desert was located near Lone Pine and I was walking east towards the White Mountains, far off across the playa. I have no idea as to why I thought that, especially at that age?...but notice that the vision doesn't include an Assisted Living facility.

(I just noticed that this post to my Projections blog will be #4,000. With half a dozen blogs, I really passed the 4,000 mark awhile ago, but it is still a milestone of some sort.)

  1. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to go to your end of life where and how you want it? BTW- congrats on reaching the >4,000 entries milestone

  2. Yes, it would. Deep subject! But if anyone needs to know, I want to be 'home'...wherever that is.
