My blog was ignored yesterday as I did some of the easier chores around here. Today will be more of the same.

In the meantime, some things have changed; the ceiling fans were switched to ‘on’ and will probably stay that way until October. It’s that time of year when I enjoy opening the windows in the early morning and letting the breezes, both artificial and real, sweep through the house.

According to what I just read, Senator Obama has won North Carolina decisively. Does this mean the battle is over? Will Senator Clinton concede? As much as I would like a decision to be made, any decision at all, I am not looking forward to what will happen as soon as a Democratic candidate is announced. That is when the Republican lie machine will go into action and no one does that better or dirtier than the Republicans. And we’ll have to sift through the daily garbage to find any little nugget of truth; if indeed there is one. Rare. Not many of our fellow citizens enjoy doing that kind of investigating and so the lies are usually taken at face value. Right now, with no candidate to smear, the Republican attack dogs are on hold and dreaming.
