Really Good!
I had this great idea yesterday and so I have to share it. A new business opportunity for someone who likes to garden. Here’s the deal; you advertise the fact that you will design and set up custom made raised bed gardens. You interview the customer to determine what they prefer in their garden and you point out where the garden should be located to its best advantage. All drip irrigated, of course. You offer customized construction of the raised beds and then you offer to plant and maintain the garden for them. Or, they can do it themselves. Imagine having a route that takes you to about a dozen of your garden customers each day. A little weeding and some tinkering with the drip system. You pick the ripe stuff and present it to the customer in one of your stylish baskets. With the last of the summer garden picked over, you shift into a winter garden mode. They’ll love it! I think it’s an idea that will work in the coming days as food prices grow higher. Even those who could easily afford the price increases will want to do their part and grow some of their own food. OK, I get 10% for this idea, as usual.

Maybe you could be a venture capitalist? Or a customer?
ReplyDeleteAll those with 'black thumbs' get a 10% discount!
ReplyDeleteI know where you can buy some great vegetable plants and or seeds...THE PLANT BARN!!!
ReplyDeleteTruth is...I think "Garden Gals, the Instant Garden Experts" would be a fine offshoot, a division, of the Plant Barn. (See, I already found a name for it...)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you don't have to use 'Anonymous' to post. Just select 'Name/URL' and you can put in your name; URL is optional.
