Banging a drumbeat for journalism
"Who’s going to write what needs to be written?"
I'm sorry to see the Beat fail. I really hoped it would thrive, only because we need alternative voices. It certainly wasn't the best of papers, but it just edgy enough to keep the competition wondering what they would print next.
