Positively Speaking

On a more positive note; my birthday celebration was lots of fun. Ice cream and cake (cupcake) of course. And grandchildren! Since there was a Wii in the house, I had to try a few of the games and I even mustered up enough skill to win a closely fought Curling event. Yes, Curling. I do have a skill.

And my family presented me with a parrot. Not a live one, but a large metal one that will sit on its perch, outside, and never ask me for a ‘cracker’. It’s not the best photo, but if you have some imagination, you can see it in a garden setting.
