Silence. Sort of. There is the chirping of many crickets, but the winds have subsided for now and that’s the important thing.
Regarding Governor Palin. This is a test. And the Democrats had better keep their opinions to themselves if they don't want to fail. No, I understand that the Republicans wouldn’t do that if the roles were reversed, but Democrats are supposed to be better than that. (Of course they aren’t…but they should be)
There are enough things wrong with
I was happy to hear Obama (twice) tell a reporter that politicians family are off limits and to drop it (about Palins pregnant daughter). He was practically pleading, "Could we just stick with the issues that face our country?" There are so many reasons why she is a lousy choice as a Vice President and her family is not one of them. Can we just stick with what is important? I don't think the Republicans want anyone asking the important questions. That maybe why they chose Palin. Let the media go off on tangents and ignore the important stuff.
ReplyDeleteYes. In fact, the only thing that puzzles me is this; why did she agree to become the VP candidate?
