Almost

This is it; the last day of the calendar year. A year that I do not want to ever see again. A year where the only positive note came from the election of Barack Obama. As gratifying as that was, it doesn't erase the damage done to our society by Bush. That may take decades and I'm not sure that I have time for it. But, all of that aside, people will be celebrating tonight as the calendar year 2008 ends, just not me, the new year that I am looking forward to begins in 20 days.
