Practice Makes Perfect

I would say that it was time for me to mow the front lawns once again. I think they are dry enough to withstand the rigors of my practicing on them with the new mower. With any luck at all, I will miss most of the trees and only leave a few divots missing where I have changed course too rapidly. Despite the danger to life and limb, I do need the practice.

It’s also time to spray for weeds. Roundup is my tool of choice in this endeavor. I know it’s not ecologically sound…but it works! I will change over to using vinegar later in the season, when the weeds aren’t so ambitious. In springtime, the weeds are fiercely determined to rule the plant world and Roundup is about the only thing that will slow them down.
