Where’s the cat? It’s almost 5 and I haven’t seen her yet. Usually, by this time she has leapt up to the study window and demanded entrance while hanging on to the window frame by just her front paws. I’m not worried though; when summertime heat arrives, she loves to stay outside in the cool air of the morning. I think I’ll step outside and see if I can find her…
And we had some heat yesterday. 93°. Is this a sign of the times? Will the summer of ‘07’ bring us even more triple digit days than last years?
I love being outside at this hour and at this time of the year. The air is cool and the dawn is a silver glow on the eastern sky. (If there was any water in the pool, I would have gone swimming.) As soon as I stepped into the garage I found the cat, busy at her food bowl. But outside, around the pool, I was hoping to see the bats at work, but I didn’t see any at all?
We had a few minutes of good internet connectivity yesterday and then it went back to the usual crawl. AT&T offers DSL everywhere around this area, but not on this road. Most frustrating. Here we are, 15 minutes away from a State University, and we can’t even buy a decent connection.
The cat? I invited her in via the kitchen door but she wasn't interested. 5 minutes later she's hanging on the study window..."let me in!"
